Youngstown Peace Race draws 1,100
The 51st annual Youngstown Peace Race took place in downtown Youngstown, attracting a large crowd of all ages for the 2-mile walk and run.
Cindy McBurney, 57, of Boardman, participated in the event with her labradoodle, Aspen.
She loves it; she takes off like a maniac and is the head of the pack, McBurney said about her dog, which she got in Denver.
A total of 1,100 people attended the event, filling West Federal Street in downtown Youngstown on Sunday.
