Tiffany Haddish Talks Real-Life Girls Trip and Tuning Out the Haters

Actor, comedian, and philanthropist Tiffany Haddish embarks on a new adventure with three of her childhood friends in the upcoming Peacock docuseries Tiffany Haddish Goes Off, premiering November 13. The show follows their monthlong journey through South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania.

When Haddish arrives for the interview, she’s greeted warmly: “Hi, Tiffany, how are you?”

“Successful. How are you?”

Haddish, now 45, smiles as she adds:

“You woke up today, so you’re winning. I’m looking at that success.”

From ‘Girls Trip’ to Global Adventures

Audiences first fell in love with Haddish as the bold and hilarious Dina in the 2017 hit film Girls Trip, alongside Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Queen Latifah. Though fans often associate her with that wild character, Haddish has shown far more depth and purpose in her real life and career.

Beyond the Stage and Screen

Haddish’s memoir, the 2017 bestseller The Last Black Unicorn, revealed both her resilience and humor. She’s collected major industry honors—already owning the first two letters of an EGOT—and continues to uplift others through her nonprofit, the She Ready Foundation, supporting children in foster care.

With her new series, audiences will see even more dimensions of a woman who has turned hard-earned success into inspiration and laughter that travels far beyond Hollywood.
