Republican incumbent Bruce Blakeman announced victory on Tuesday evening, holding a 54% to 46% lead over Democratic challenger Seth Koslow.
“I want to thank the men and women of Nassau County for giving us all your trust to lead us going forward,” said Blakeman. “We are going to continue the work that was started to make us an even more prosperous county.”
“I’ve done many campaigns over the years, but every election night you go in with the highest of hopes and the worst of fears, and you just ride with it until the end.”
Blakeman, who first assumed office in 2021, credited teamwork and community trust for the Republican Party’s continued success.
