After a 2-5 start to the 2025-26 NBA season, the Sacramento Kings made a roster adjustment by signing free agent Precious Achiuwa, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
To make room for Achiuwa, the Kings waived second-year center Isaac Jones, who was on a $1.96 million club option this season and scheduled to become a restricted free agent next offseason, per Spotrac.
Sacramento's frontcourt depth has been tested following the loss of Keegan Murray due to a UCL tear in his left thumb. Murray underwent surgery last month, with the team planning to reassess his status the following Monday at the earliest.
Achiuwa, 26 years old, averaged 6.6 points and 5.6 rebounds over 57 games last season while playing for the New York Knicks.
