Plot Overview
The story picks up in the fall of 1987. Hawkins is deeply affected by the opening of the Rifts, and the main characters share a unified mission: find and kill Vecna. However, Vecna has disappeared, with his location and intentions unknown.
Adding to their challenges, the government has imposed a military quarantine on Hawkins and increased its search for Eleven, forcing her into hiding once again.
