BMW Group Malaysia to Support Malaysia's ASEAN Chairmanship with EV Fleet

BMW Group Malaysia will supply an electric vehicle (EV) fleet to the government to support Malaysia's ASEAN chairmanship in 2025.

The fleet will include the BMW i7 xDrive60 M Sport and the i5 eDrive40 M Sport, as part of the company's initiative to align with the nation's National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) and the chairmanship's theme of 'Inclusivity and Sustainability'.

There are currently seven BMW EVs available in Malaysia, including the i4, i5, i7, iX1, iX2, iX3, and iX, all of which are fully-imported (CBU) offerings.

According to the company, this initiative aligns with the nation's National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) while also supporting the chairmanship's theme of 'Inclusivity and Sustainability'.
