Comedian Alan Carr, 49, triumphed on Celebrity Traitors after a tense finale Thursday night, successfully concealing his Traitor role from the other contestants. Following his win, Alan publicly apologized to his friend and fellow contestant Paloma Faith.
During the show's spin-off Uncloaked, which aired after the finale, Alan admitted to feeling deep guilt for deceiving his friends, especially for eliminating Paloma, 44, who was pregnant at the time. He was forced to pick her as his first victim, using a faux poisoned lily to "murder" her in the game, leaving Paloma furious at the betrayal.
Alan Carr said, "The thing is, when I killed Paloma I felt sick inside. And you've got to remember, it was such a cruel twist to touch someone's face."
He told host Ed Gamble he felt "awful" about his decision but insisted he had no choice in targeting his close friend.
Alan Carr won Celebrity Traitors but expressed sincere remorse for deceiving and "eliminating" his friend Paloma Faith on the show.
