West Yorkshire Police confirmed that Mark Fellows, 45, Lee Newell, 56, and David Taylor, 63, have each been charged with the murder of Kyle Bevan, 33, at HMP Wakefield.

On November 7, the three prisoners appeared separately before Leeds Magistrates' Court via video link from Havertop Police Station. The hearings involved the murder charge of Bevan, who was killed on November 5 at HMP Wakefield.

Officers were called to the prison around 8:25 AM on Wednesday after reports that an inmate had been found dead in his cell. The Prison Service confirmed the deceased was Kyle Bevan, serving a life sentence for the murder of his partner's two-year-old daughter in Pembrokeshire, 2020.
