The University of Notre Dame announced on Monday, November 3, that AC/DC will perform a concert at the Notre Dame Stadium starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m., with a limit of four tickets per person and credit card.
The legendary rock band was formed in Sydney, Australia, in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Over the decades, AC/DC achieved global fame for their powerful combination of blues-rock and hard rock, producing era-defining albums.
Among their classic hits are “You Shook Me All Night Long,” “Who Made Who,” “Hells Bells,” and “Thunderstruck.”
The Pretty Reckless will open the show. The band, fronted by actress and musician Taylor Momsen from “Gossip Girl,” has topped Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart eight times. Their 2021 album “Death by Rock and Roll” produced several number-one singles, including “Death by Rock and Roll,” “And So It Went,” and “Only Love Can Save Me Now.” Their latest single “For I Am Death” also reached the top of the chart.
“For those about to rock, we salute you.”
