Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, known for her roles in "The Hunger Games" and "Silver Linings Playbook," shared eerie experiences she had while filming in New Orleans and Charlotte, North Carolina.
While working on her 2022 film "Causeway," Lawrence said she had several unusual encounters that left her believing in the possibility of ghosts. She reportedly moved three different times during the shoot before settling into a hotel in New Orleans.
According to Lawrence, she was resting in bed one day when she heard a housekeeper enter her room. After apologizing for waking her, the housekeeper left. However, when Lawrence got up later, she discovered that her door had been deadbolted the entire time, making it impossible for anyone to have entered.
"I don't know, I just come from a world where we believe women," Lawrence said, adding that she might have been drifting between sleep and wakefulness at the moment.
Lawrence mentioned another unsettling moment from her stay in a local house. While watching television alone, she witnessed the kitchen doors repeatedly slamming open and shut, adding to her sense that something unexplainable was happening around her.
