Album Preview and Singles
Earlier this month, Joji quietly released the first single, “PIXELATED KISSES,” marking his first new music since 2022’s SMITHEREENS. The track quickly gained massive popularity, amassing nearly 50 million global streams and entering the Billboard Hot 100.
On November 5th, he unveiled a second single, “It It Only Gets Better,” which revisits his lo-fi origins by combining acoustic guitar with syncopated bass lines and rich harmonies. The single includes a video directed by James Mao.
The video playfully nods to the breakthrough “YEAH RIGHT” from Joji’s 2018 album BALLADS 1, balancing energetic club visuals with minimal, thoughtful lyrics.
