K'Andre Miller Returns for Hurricanes

K'Andre Miller will rejoin the lineup against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday at 7 p.m. The Hurricanes defenseman missed six consecutive games, including a 3-0 victory over the Rangers, due to a lower-body injury. He was activated off injured reserve on Thursday.

Coach Rod Brind'Amour said, "Miller should be able to play, but we won't know until after the morning skate."

Mats Zuccarello Could Debut for Wild

Mats Zuccarello is close to making his season debut for the Minnesota Wild against the New York Islanders on Friday at 7 p.m. The forward resumed skating last week after being sidelined since September 18 with a lower-body injury expected to keep him out 7-8 weeks. Zuccarello participated in the morning skate before the Wild’s game against the Hurricanes on Thursday.

Coach John Hynes remarked, "He's not going to go tonight, but we'll see tomorrow. It's day to day."
