Riley Keough shared that she continues to feel a strong spiritual connection with her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley. These unexpected signs, she says, have given her comfort as she copes with the loss and the challenges that followed her mother’s death.
“Sometimes I feel like my mom is still around, sending me strange signs,” said Riley Keough.
Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, passed away in January 2023 at the age of 54 due to a small bowel obstruction, a complication from bariatric surgery. She was the mother of three children: Riley, 36, from her marriage to Danny Keough, and twins Harper and Finley, born in 2008 to her ex-husband Michael Lockwood. Her son, Benjamin, tragically died by suicide in 2020 at the age of 27.
After Lisa Marie’s death, a legal conflict developed between Riley and her grandmother Priscilla Presley regarding control of the estate. The matter was resolved, but Priscilla later became involved in a financial dispute with former advisers, marked by severe accusations about her daughter’s final moments.
As Riley prepares to release the paperback edition of her mother’s memoir From Here to the Great Unknown, she believes Lisa Marie’s spirit continues to guide and reassure her, bridging the distance between them through mysterious signs.
Author’s Summary: Riley Keough finds peace in subtle spiritual signs she believes come from her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley, while preserving her legacy through a new memoir edition.
