Riley Keough touches on supernatural moments since Lisa Marie's passing

Riley Keough Reflects on Supernatural Connections Since Her Mother's Passing

Riley Keough’s mother, Lisa Marie Presley, passed away on January 12, 2023. Since then, Riley has completed co-writing her memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown, and believes she has received signs of approval from her mother.

Honoring Her Mother's Memory

Riley is preparing to honor the third anniversary of Lisa Marie’s passing. Although her mother is no longer physically present, Riley feels a continuing spiritual connection with her in ways she finds difficult to explain.

Signs of Approval

Speaking at the Academy x Chanel Women’s Luncheon on November 4, Riley shared with PEOPLE that she senses her mother’s approval of the memoir.

“I think if you're open to those things, they're kind of everywhere,” Keough said.

She added that she feels linked to “whatever that world may be” and described some moments as “too weird to not be something.”

Details in the Memoir

Riley did not reveal specific experiences but mentioned that they will be included in the afterword of the paperback edition, scheduled for release on November 11, 2025.

Inherited Sensitivity to the Unseen

This is not Riley’s first supernatural experience; it appears to be a sensitivity inherited from her mother. Lisa Marie, Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s only child, was just nine years old when Elvis passed away, and she seemed to sense his impending death.

“Leading up to his passing, she seemed to sense what was coming.”
Author’s Summary

Riley Keough feels a profound, mystical bond with her late mother, marked by subtle signs and shared sensitivities that bridge the visible and unseen worlds.
