A twin-engine plane crashed near Hicks Airfield in Fort Worth, resulting in the deaths of two people and a fire that damaged at least ten semi-trucks.
The Fort Worth Fire Department confirmed the crash, which occurred in the 12700 block of N. Saginaw Blvd., near Avondale, at approximately 1:30 p.m.
The fire was brought under control within 35 minutes, by 2:11 p.m., with 10 firetrucks, 14 support vehicles, and three ambulances responding to the scene.
