Championship Picture Ahead of São Paulo
Max Verstappen’s commanding weekend at the United States Grand Prix in late October—winning both the Sprint and the main race—pulled the four-time champion back into the title battle.
Lando Norris, however, countered in Mexico City with a dominant victory, taking back the overall lead. He now holds a narrow advantage over his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri by just one point, 357 to 356. Verstappen follows closely on 321 points, only 36 behind the lead pair.
Constructors’ Standings Tighten
While McLaren has already secured its second consecutive Constructors’ Championship, the fight for second place remains fierce. Ferrari currently leads Mercedes by a single point (356 to 355), with Red Bull chasing strongly at 346, just ten points behind Ferrari and nine behind the Silver Arrows.
