1969 Ford Mustang: KINGPIN by Ringbrothers

Ringbrothers, the acclaimed custom car builder and parts maker, revealed its latest masterpiece, "KINGPIN", at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. This build redefines the 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, blending classic design with cutting-edge technology.

Performance and Engineering

After more than 5,500 hours of precision work, KINGPIN pushes performance far beyond the original Mustang Mach 1. It is powered by a Wegner Motorsports 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine equipped with a Whipple supercharger producing over 800 horsepower.

Chassis and Body Modifications

The team extensively reworked the chassis, converting the Roadster Shop FAST TRACK Stage III back into a unibody format. They also widened the car’s body by 2 inches at the front and 3.5 inches at the rear to improve stance and handling.

The wheelbase was extended forward by 1 inch to enhance driving dynamics while maintaining the car’s iconic silhouette.

Ringbrothers said, “KINGPIN is a complete reimagining of the original Ford Mustang Mach 1, featuring performance levels that far surpass those of the factory model.”

Summary

KINGPIN is a masterful blend of classic Mustang design and modern engineering, offering unmatched power and bespoke craftsmanship in a legendary muscle car.
