Ringbrothers reshaped the 1969 Mustang Mach 1, injecting it with more than 800 horsepower and a sinister new look. Their creation, KINGPIN, blends handcrafted metalwork, modern technology, and a dark, aggressive style.

Design and Build

Based in Wisconsin, Ringbrothers dedicated over 5,500 hours to this restomod, merging a classic 20th-century muscle car with cutting-edge 21st-century engineering. The result is a detailed and powerful machine that honors the Mustang's heritage while pushing performance boundaries.

Chassis and Body Modifications

The chassis is a modified Roadster Shop FAST TRACK Stage III platform re-engineered into a unibody for enhanced rigidity. The Mach 1’s body is widened by 2 inches at the front and 3.5 inches at the rear, while the wheelbase is extended by 1.5 inches to boost stance and handling.

“The Mustang Mach 1 has always been an aggressive-looking car, and the client was adamant about creating a sinister aesthetic,” said Ringbrothers co-owner Jim Ring. “We asked ourselves, ‘What would the final boss in a John Wick film drive?’ This was the result.”

Author’s summary: Ringbrothers’ KINGPIN restomod transforms the classic 1969 Mustang Mach 1 into a menacing 800+ horsepower machine, blending timeless design with advanced engineering and aggressive styling.
