Unveiled at SEMA 2025, the Ringbrothers 1969 Ford Mustang Kingpin merges classic Mustang charm with cutting-edge technology. This restaura-mod build transforms the original Mustang Mach 1 into a modern powerhouse while preserving its vintage appeal.
The Wisconsin-based Ringbrothers spent over 5,500 hours crafting this coupe. The car features extensive use of carbon fiber and almost no original Ford parts remain. The body was widened by two inches at the front and 3.5 inches at the rear, while the wheelbase was extended forward by 1.5 inches. The chassis is a Roadster Shop Fast Track Stage III converted to a unibody construction, an extensive and complex modification.
The Mustang Kingpin is coated in Bootleg Black paint, concealing even more custom modifications beneath the surface.
Ringbrothers described the project as a comprehensive reimagining that preserves the Mustang’s spirit while pushing modern engineering boundaries.
Summary: The Ringbrothers 1969 Mustang Kingpin expertly fuses classic Mustang aesthetics with advanced performance upgrades and meticulous craftsmanship, redefining the restomod experience.
