A man suffered a severe neck injury in a slashing incident reportedly triggered by a dispute over a parking spot in South Richmond Hill, Queens.
According to police, the 26-year-old victim had just parked near Liberty Avenue and 123 Street around 3:30 a.m. on October 18. A GMC Terrain driver pulled up behind him and demanded he move his car.
The suspect then exited his vehicle and slashed the victim across the neck. The injured man was immediately taken to the hospital with critical wounds.
“Late nights have become more unpredictable with a bar crowd in the area and fewer parking spaces.”
Authorities are actively searching for the suspect involved in the attack.
