Israeli property developer Simon Aykut pleaded guilty to 40 charges related to developing and selling €43 million worth of property on Greek Cypriot land in the north.
The plea was entered after a deal between the prosecution and the defence, with charges including “fraudulent real estate transactions”, possession of stolen land, money laundering, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
