WME Independent Launches AFM Sales for Pete Davidson and Ella Purnell Romantic Comedy
WME Independent will launch sales at AFM next week for the romantic comedy That Time We Met, starring Pete Davidson and Ella Purnell.
Film Details and Creative Team
Nick Lieberman, known for directing Theater Camp, which sold to Searchlight Pictures at Sundance 2023, will direct this film. The screenplay was written by Mitchell Winkie.
The story follows a couple who despise each other after their first date but discover that their unborn child is destined to save humanity's future.

Actors' Background
Pete Davidson's credits include Saturday Night Live, The King Of Staten Island, and Dumb Money. He is also set to star in the upcoming How To Rob A Bank (2026) for Amazon MGM Studios.
Ella Purnell appeared in the series Yellowjackets and Sweetbitter and recently finished filming the comedy horror feature The Scurry.
