Gallagher Securities hires Caroline Cassis as Senior ILS Structurer
Gallagher Securities, the insurance-linked securities (ILS) and capital markets broker-dealer division of reinsurance broker Gallagher Re, has strengthened its structuring expertise with the appointment of Caroline Cassis. She joins from Swiss Re, where she most recently specialized in catastrophe bond and ILS structuring.
This addition follows Gallagher Re’s continued investment in expanding its structuring capabilities within the insurance-linked securities market. Cassis will report to Andras Bohm, the company’s Global Head of Structuring, and will be based in New York.
Before joining Gallagher Securities, Cassis built a diverse career spanning reinsurance and capital markets. She began her professional journey at investment firm BlackRock in 2017, working with the private equity team in Zurich. Afterward, she moved to Swiss Re, where she served as a private equity analyst and later contributed to reinsurance business development in Zurich. In 2022, she advanced into Swiss Re’s capital markets division.
