Sandown Lifeboat Station, deemed "no longer fit for purpose", may be replaced with a new building to continue its life-saving service.
The current station, located on Sandown's Western Esplanade, has become "structurally unsound" and "beyond economical repair".

A public consultation on the application is open until November 7, with a decision scheduled for November 26.
