Application for Closed-Door Testimony
Chief Evidence Leader Advocate Matthew Chaskalson submitted an application to hear testimony away from the public and media, citing the sensitivity of the information expected to be presented.
- Media lawyer Charles Du Plessis, representing News24 and Daily Maverick, opposed the application.
- Du Plessis has been given until 13:00 to submit written arguments.
The commission will review the submission and deliver a ruling either later tonight or before proceedings resume on Tuesday morning.
