IUCN Members Adopt New Strategic Vision and Programme
IUCN Members have adopted a new 20-year Strategic Vision and four-year Programme to guide the Union's work up to 2030.
"The world is shifting beneath our feet with startling speed. Biodiversity loss has not been halted, and is converging with climate change, pollution, and inequality in ways never experienced before," said H.E. IUCN President Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak.
Despite the challenges, President Al Mubarak expressed optimism, believing that IUCN has the capacity and collective will to address these complex issues.
The IUCN President emphasized that conservation works and nature can recover, and by uniting behind this purpose, they can accelerate recovery.
