Glem Gas Launches New Emilia Electric Cooktops
Emilia has introduced new electric cooktop options to simplify the switch from gas cooktops by offering products with identical sizes.
Glem Gas managing director, David Gilmore, explains the typical installation requirements for electric and gas cooktops. Electric cooktops usually require a cutout of 560mm x 490mm, while gas cooktops use a slightly smaller 560mm x 480mm cutout.
“This difference means that anyone wanting to move from gas to electric must enlarge their benchtop cutout – a tricky and sometimes hazardous job, especially with stone surfaces.”
Emilia has solved this problem with two new models that fit perfectly into a standard gas cutout, eliminating the need for messy modifications and making the process simple and stress-free.
