Bus Company Boosts Lake District Travel Routes This Winter
Stagecoach is introducing extra journeys in the Lake District this winter, starting with a new winter timetable on November 3.
The updated schedule will feature more frequent services and early-morning options, aiming to enhance the travel experience for customers.
Travelling by bus is the best way to see the Lake District. It’s better for the environment too and, thanks to the national fare cap, no single journey costs more than £3 making the bus a fantastic bargain.
Key changes include:
- More journeys on the 555 route between Lancaster and Keswick, serving Windermere and Ambleside.
- Buses will run every 30 minutes between Kendal and Keswick during the busiest times from Monday to Saturday.
- A new northbound service from Lancaster to Keswick will depart at 8.
