Charges Upgraded to First-Degree Murder in Jefferson City Shooting
The Cole County Prosecuting Attorney's Office announced that Michael A. Davis' charges have been upgraded to First-Degree Murder.
Davis, 40, is accused of shooting two people in Cole County. His former offenses were amended to reflect the deaths of Shawna Davis, 39, and Sofie Mulcahey, 31, both of Jefferson City, who were transported to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia and succumbed to their injuries.

Davis will be formally arraigned at his next court appearance on Friday.
