Vicksburg's Bicentennial Time Capsule to Be Unearthed
Vicksburg officials will open a 50-year-old time capsule as part of the city's bicentennial celebration at the Warren County Courthouse.
Fifty years ago, a time capsule was buried during the nation's bicentennial celebration to be opened when the city marked its 200th year. Peggy Sue Fulghum, who witnessed the burial, will attend the unearthing with her daughter, Jennifer Fulghum Lewis.
