Etiwanda Girls Flag Football Team Beats Upland, Finishes Unbeaten in Baseline League

The Etiwanda Eagles scored the decisive touchdown on a trick play called "Oiler" with 8.4 seconds remaining, winning 19-18 against Upland.

Etiwanda flag football coach Jacob Ahmad led his team to victory, despite already securing the Baseline League title. Ahmad's team finishes the regular season 22-3 overall and 10-0 in league.

"Oiler" resulted in the winning touchdown scored by Nahdeen Purvis-Romero with 8.4 seconds remaining.

Upland finishes in a tie for second with Rancho Cucamonga at 18-6, 7-3. The playoff pairings will be released Friday at 2 p.m.
