The Philadelphia Sixers made a preseason addition by signing former first-round pick MarJon Beauchamp to an Exhibit 10 deal.
Beauchamp, a defensive-minded wing, was recently waived by the Portland Trail Blazers. Throughout his three-year career, he has averaged 4.1 points on 43.0 percent shooting, along with 1.9 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per game across 135 career games (12 starts) with the Milwaukee Bucks, LA Clippers, and New York Knicks.
In a corresponding move, the team waived Emoni Bates. According to sources, Beauchamp is likely to be waived prior to the season and will join the Delaware Blue Coats, Philadelphia's G League affiliate.
