Roberts Bakery Saved, Over 400 Jobs Secured
Roberts Bakery's parent company, Frank Roberts & Sons Limited, has been saved by Boparan Private Office, owned by entrepreneur Ranjit Singh Boparan.
The investment has resulted in the creation of a new company, Roberts Bakery 1887 Ltd, securing 433 jobs at the historic bakery business.

The news follows Roberts Bakery's announcement to enter administration earlier this month.
This announcement came less than six weeks after the bakery planned to close its site in Ilkeston, putting hundreds of jobs at risk.
