Towneplace Suites by Marriott in West Bank has opened, featuring 109 rooms at 525 3rd St.
The hotel's infrastructure was included in a tax increment financing request approved by City Commissioners in 2022 and increased in 2023.
Community Events
- A pumpkin giveaway will distribute 642 pumpkins to all 15 elementary schools, with every first-grade student receiving a pumpkin on Oct. 21-22.
- The Torgerson’s pumpkin giveaway started 20 years ago with seven pumpkins for a Montessori pre-school class.
The next few years we gave 17 pumpkins to the 17 students in one kindergarten class. It just kept growing at this point, the year after we expanded to all first graders city wide in Great Falls.
