Director Scott Cooper on Working with Bruce Springsteen
Director Scott Cooper discusses his experience working with Bruce Springsteen and Jeremy Allen White on the new biopic, Deliver Me From Nowhere.
Cooper recalls that Springsteen visited the set just four days into shooting, and notes that making a film about a cultural icon like Springsteen comes with a certain level of pressure.
“Look, any time you’re making a film about a cultural icon and someone who’s as legendary as Bruce, there’s always trepidation, right?”
Despite this, Cooper praises Springsteen for being non-directive and allowing the creative team to work freely.
