Kennesaw State Architecture Students Earn Recognition

A team of Kennesaw State University architecture students has earned international recognition for their design project, "When Walls Roam," which reimagined an old Italian villa.

Students Gabriela Almeida, Wade Brock, Quincy Smith, and Justin Barkie, from the College of Architecture and Construction Management, spent their summer transforming the ruins of history into a story of renewal.

Their project won the Community's Choice Award in Terraviva Competitions' Venetian Villa challenge, gaining praise from viewers worldwide.
