G42 reports that the construction of the 1GW Stargate AI cluster in Abu Dhabi is well underway.
The Khazna-led project has entered advanced construction, marking a significant step towards the UAE's goal of building one of the world's largest AI infrastructure hubs.
The facility, being developed by Khazna Data Centers, a G42 company, is part of the 5GW UAE-US AI Campus and is scheduled to go live in 2026.
