Steelers WR DK Metcalf Offers Blunt Assessment of Controversial Interception

DK Metcalf discussed a critical turnover during the Pittsburgh Steelers' 33-31 loss on Thursday night.

The play occurred in the blink of an eye, with what would have been a sizable gain for Metcalf and the Steelers instead giving the Cincinnati Bengals momentum nearing halftime.

The turnover happened when Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers fired a pass toward the left sideline on a second-and-13 from the hosts’ 44-yard line. Metcalf couldn’t get a good grip on it, and a diving DJ Turner II got his right forearm between the ball and Metcalf’s chest, slapping it loose.

Metcalf reached back over his right shoulder while keeping stride, but couldn’t pull the ball in.
