Sudbury Cross-Country Stars Shine
Runners competed in the SDSSAA championships at Kivi Park, with Julien Luoma taking top spot in his category.
Luoma, a junior star of the Lo-Ellen Park Knights cross-country team, won by a two-second margin over Maxime Belzile of Macdonald-Cartier.

Dax Hester, a novice sensation, earned an 80-second victory over teammate Lincoln Elliott in the novice boys race, crediting Luoma for his advice and support.
Hester, a 14-year-old Grade 9 talent, may have the opportunity to work out with his role model, Luoma, who is just one year older.
