The completion of walking track upgrades at The Nut State Reserve has improved visitor access, further enhancing this iconic area.
Minister for Parks, Nick Duigan, stated that the works are part of the Tasmanian Government's four-year $2.3 million commitment to improve safety and accessibility at the Stanley landmark.
Our Government is delivering on our commitments to invest in Tasmania's parks and reserves.
The upgrades include a track connecting Godfrey's Beach to The Nut, as well as an all-access track featuring handrails, widened paths, and a more gradual slope from The Nut Café to the base of the Zig Zag track.
The Nut's rugged beauty attracts approximately 50,000 visitors to the region annually.
