EVN Subsidiary Shows Solidarity with Cuba
Employees of the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), a subsidiary of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), demonstrated unity and compassion by donating one day's salary to support the people of Cuba.
This initiative was sparked by Joint Directive No. 608/CTLT-CĐEVNNPT-EVNNPT, issued on October 9 by Pham Le Phu, general director of EVNNPT, and the executive committee of the EVNNPT Trade Union.
- The directive encouraged all employees to contribute at least one day's salary to the EVNNPT Trade Union for disaster relief and assistance to the Cuban people.
The action is a display of solidarity with Cuba, a nation that has a long-standing special friendship with Vietnam.
