Marine Corps Live-Fire Event
A large stretch of coastal freeway will be closed due to a Marine Corps live-fire event at Camp Pendleton.
The event, part of the Marine Corps' 250th birthday celebration, will involve firing artillery over the I-5 Freeway.

The California Highway Patrol announced the closure, which will be in effect from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, from Harbor Drive in Oceanside to Basilone Road near San Onofre.
