Redistricting Task Force Addresses Vermont's Unique Challenges
Area residents shared their thoughts and concerns with the Vermont School Redistricting Task Force as it prepares a map to recommend to the Legislature.
Rich Werner, chairman of the River Valleys Unified Union School District, noted that Vermont is "a unique place" with significant challenges, particularly in rural and hilly areas.
"You guys don't have an easy job,"
he told the task force, highlighting transportation as a major issue to consider.
Meanwhile, parents from Dover, Landgrove, and Londonderry expressed their desire to continue sending their children to Burr & Burton Academy in Manchester.
