Amazon's AI-Generated Code and AWS Outage
A major AWS outage on Monday, Oct. 20, caused downtime for several cloud-dependent platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Canva, and Perplexity AI, affecting millions of users worldwide.
Elon Musk responded to the outage by mocking a statement from the AWS CEO, which claimed that
75% of Amazon's production code is now AI-generated.
