Internet Outage Linked to AWS
A spike in user reports has been recorded by Downdetector for nearly 50 websites over the last few hours, with many outages linked to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Popular websites and apps such as Perplexity, Canva, Signal, Amazon, Roblox, Coinbase, and Atlassian began experiencing issues at around 8am.
According to Downdetector, the crowdsourced disruptions reporting platform, the outages are connected to issues at AWS, which provides the infrastructure for many internet sites.
At 11:35am, AWS reported that many services had returned.
