Environmental, social, and governance considerations are increasingly important for law firms.

Only 36 UK law firms, including SA Law, are certified out of 3,467 companies. Certified B Corps meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

Certified B Corps are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on workers, clients, suppliers, community, and the environment, rather than focusing solely on profit.

The reason for the low number of certified law firms is unclear.
