A Red Flag warning has been issued for most of the Eastern Plains and the Front Range in Colorado due to high winds and low humidity.
The National Weather Service warns of extremely favorable conditions for wildfires to ignite and spread quickly, with wind gusts reaching up to 60 miles per hour.

This is the first Red Flag Warning issued this month, during a stretch of dry weather across eastern Colorado.
