Reunification of Toddler and Family
A 3-year-old Alabama girl, Kionni Haugen, was reunited with her family on October 4 after being allegedly abducted by her mother, Haley Harris, and taken to Mexico.
According to investigators, they tracked Harris using her cell phone data. However, when Mexican officials refused to release Kionni back to the United States, lawmakers intervened to facilitate the reunion.

Kionni's father, Bryce Haugen, reported that the incident began on September 21 when Harris arrived at his house, attempting to take the 3-year-old.
