House Speaker Wan Muhamad Noor Matha requested the IPU chief to back Thailand's anti-scammer motion.
He met with Martin Chungong, Secretary-General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), on Monday evening at the Centre International de Conférences Genève (CICG) in Geneva, Switzerland, during the 151st IPU Assembly.
Chungong informed Wan Muhamad Noor that the Cambodian parliamentary delegation had approached him on 19 October, complaining of negative Thai media coverage and seeking talks.
