Corridor Care: A Year-Round Issue
A recent survey by the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has confirmed that corridor care is no longer limited to winter months.
The survey, which included 553 physicians across the UK, found that 59% of respondents had delivered care in temporary spaces between June and August 2025.
- Temporary care environments included corridors, gyms, offices, and even cupboards.
- 45% of respondents who reported providing care in temporary environments did so daily or almost daily.
Corridor care is now a year-round issue, according to the RCP.
